The AGM took place and the committee  were voted in. The current committee are committed to helping and giving up their spare time to the success of fund raising to improve the educational experience and fun for the children here at St Leonard’s .

Help at events are crucial for their success and determine if they go ahead at all. Please,  if you can give some time to help it really does help the committee and shares the load.

FOSLS year end we have spent a massive £5421.38 on our children, including Sports kits, year books for Year 6, Circus workshop, Books for year 6, Wet play equipment for each class, Exotic Zoo trip, Playhouse for reception, Easter competition prizes, Science guide, Nursery equipment, Cuan house visit.

We’ve funded the Viking workshop very recently, the children have really enjoyed it. There will be pictures on the website soon.

It costs us £4500 to keeping the swimming pool open and in use every year.

With out your support at our FOSLS event this could not be possible.

Thank you very much for your continued support.

Swimming Pool Subscriptions

Please help us to keep our lovely swimming pool running by paying your subs each year.

The Committee have been busy allocating the funds we have made since the Summer Fayre. After all the hard work it is a pleasure to be able to spend the money on the extra things our children just wouldn’t get in school. This year we decided to give each classroom a lump sum to buy some wet weather games for play time, and I’m sure they’ve been used lots recently.
So far, this year, we have funded Sport kits – the football team have had a new kit and warm hoodies have been purchased for children going to away sports tournaments. All do look very smart.
We have also helped fund a school trip for Year 4,5 and 6, a museum trip and Cuan House have visited the younger children in school. KS1 really enjoyed the Circus workshop and Nursery have been able to get some wet weather clothing. KS2 have had a French computer programme.
On top of these things we have the Swimming pool expenditure and running costs to cover but, with the massive support of your swimming subscriptions,  we can look forward to the summer swimming lessons once again.
Thank you for your continued support and I hope you agree the children really do benefit from all the fundraising you do.

Many thanks
FOSLS Chair.

FOSLS have funded a new sports kit for our children to wear at event tournaments as seen below:

KS1 and Foundation Stage were given the opportunity to experience a circus workshop on Monday.

The children watched a circus introduction and demonstrations to some of the skills required.

Children had a go at juggling scarves, spinning plates, walking on wheels and stilt walking.

Thank you for your kind donations of shoe boxes for the Samaritan’s Purse.

Watch this space for any future Bags to School collections.
Many thanks for your ongoing support.
